Clean Energy Solutions Center

The Clean Energy Solutions Center (CESC) was set up by the Clean Energy Ministerial as a first-stop clearinghouse for clean energy policy reports, data and tools. It serves as an international forum to encourage and facilitate the sharing of best practices, policies and programs that support the transition to a global clean energy economy. IPEEC and the CESC collaborate on such activities as the establishment of joint energy efficiency policy networks on select topics and the development of energy efficiency analysis tools to help countries design and implement energy efficiency policies and programs.

Global Sustainable Consumption and Production (SCP) Clearinghouse

The United Nations Environment Programme’s Global Sustainable Consumption and Production (SCP) Clearinghouse is a one-stop hub that aims to bring together and expand the SCP community worldwide. It collects, disseminates, and shares cooperation opportunities and information to increase innovation, collaboration, and implementation of SCP globally. IPEEC and the SCP Clearinghouse co-manage the Clearinghouse’s Energy Efficiency Community, which features networking opportunities, working groups, and outreach programs.

Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development

The Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) is a government forum that promotes policies for the social and economic well-being of people around the world, with a special focus on sustainable growth. The OECD and IPEEC work together through IPEEC’s Energy Efficiency Finance Task Group (EEFTG) to increase capital flows into energy efficiency investments. IPEEC also participates in a number of OECD fora on topics related to sustainable energy and economic growth.

United Nations Environment Programme Finance Initiative (UNEP FI)

United Nations Environment Programme Finance Initiative (UNEP FI) is a global partnership between UNEP and the international financial sector. It was created in recognition that financial institutions can play a greater role in addressing environmental, social and governance challenges and in helping to shape a more sustainable world. Over 200 institutions, including banks, insurers and fund managers, work with UNEP to understand the link between environmental and social considerations and financial performance. UNEP is a key partner in IPEEC’s work on energy efficiency finance through the EEFTG.
